The Bear Trap line of reusable filter magnets are designed to remove ferrous metal particles from hydraulic fluids, oil, fuel, coolant water and transmission fluids. Removes particles the filter doesn’t catch. Prevents downstream system damage by trapping metal particles in filter. When changing the element, after removing from the system, remove the magnet from the “can” and attach it to the new element. For use with all brands of disposable filters including those used on domestic and foreign motor vehicle engines, racing engines, diesel engines, transmissions, marine engines, motorcycle engines, hydraulic systems, fuel filters, and coolant filters.
